Welcome to our Motorcycle-Finca. The first thing to do is to choose a helmet and bike wear. Is it a warm or rainy day? No problem! We have all the appropriate gear for you. Thereafter, the Tour Guide will give a briefing about riding in a group.
10:30am is departure time. We take a small route, with no other traffic, where we can get to know our new bikes. The group may be up to 10 riders and we head into the curvy hillside of eastern Mallorca. For our Tour Guide, Johannes, this is a dreamlike paradise. Endless hills, curves and mountains passing through small quaint villages and old fishing ports. A coffee stop directly at the seaside or at a Monastery on a hilltop is an absolute must.
After about 115kms we arrive at the Tramuntana Mountains. This large Mallorca mountain range is about 120kms long with over 40 peaks, mostly over 100 meters above sea level. An absolute dreamland: Adventurous roads, curve after curve and many romantic lookouts over the Mediterranean Sea. In this area there are enormous altitude differences to master.
In the afternoon we stop at a restaurant on a cliff, a hidden highlight: Scenes of Grandmas sitting in the shade peeling potatoes for lunch. The meals are delicious.
Relaxed, we begin riding back to our hotel through the middle of the island, riding along small tracks. At about 8pm we arrive back in Cala d'or and after traveling about 290kms today, we've deserved a small beer.
At the moment we start the tour at least twice a week. Tour guide costs: EUR 29.00 per day/per rider in addition to the motorcycle rental, excluding fuel and meals.
